Thirteen independent cinemas in the UK will be screening the short film made by John Minton and Portishead to accompany their forthcoming single 'Magic Doors'.

On Saturday August 2nd, YouTube will host a special presentation of "Portishead in Portishead" - a 31 minute piece filmed in December 2007 in the drama block at Geoff Barrow's old school, Gordano School in Portishead and featuring 7 songs from Third.
The film will go live at 9am PST on the global home page and at approximately 5pm in the UK and Ireland.
You can also see some of the band's favourite YouTube clips with them telling you why.

Portishead's session, recorded at BBC's Maida Vale studios will be broadcast tonight, Tuesday 10th on Zane Lowe's Radio One show. On air between 7pm & 9pm, the show will also be available to listen again to online for a week.

Portishead will appear on Later with Jools Holland tonight, 15th April at 10 p.m on BBC 2 and perform a live track from the new album.
The band will appear again on the show on Friday 18th April at 11.35 p.m and perform three tracks from the album.

Portishead play 2 shows at All Tomorrows Parties in Minehead, England on December 7th & 8th – there will be a very limited edition T shirt available at the event and as subscribers to the official site, you can order yours here but you need to email us your order by Friday 30th November.

BAND TIMES FOR PORTISHEAD ATP

Portishead and Aphex Twin opted to present their shows in Centre Stage and will be doing 2 performances each so they could perform their sets with no restrictive sound issues. To make this work ATP have cut the capacity of the festival by over 600 people to allow much easier access for all fans to be able to come and see the shows of their choice.
The Portishead show will be wrist-banded so all fans are guaranteed entry. At check-in please choose your preferred show day (Friday or Saturday) The wristbands will be on a first come first served basis, however if there are special circumstances that means you are arriving late on the Friday evening or not until the Saturday morning and can only attend the Saturday show please contact ATP on feedback@atpfestival.com with "wristband" in the subject line and let them know and they can make arrangements to hold back wristbands.
The Aphex Twin shows will be on a first come first serve basis on the night - once the room is at capacity they will let people in on a one out one in basis.

The very wonderful and very funny cult comedian Mr Jerry Sadowitz has been added to the line up for the Nightmare before Christmas. Jerry will be treating us to a show of both magic and comedy........

Portishead at All Tomorrow's Parties

Portishead are to be the next curators and will be performing exclusively at All Tomorrow's Parties, Nightmare Before Christmas in December 2007.
They will be playing their first full live set featuring new material in nearly 10 years at the event which is set for December 7, 8 & 9 at Butlins Holiday Camp at Minehead.
"We have always loved the All Tomorrow's Parties set up and we're happy our first shows will be there. It's great to have the opportunity to introduce bands we love or have influenced us. We've chosen a diverse collection of artists to play with us and we're really looking forward to it"
